Confident Christianity Morning Session – Dumfries

June 20 @ 10:00 am – 12:10 pm
Do you ever want to share your faith in Jesus, but feel like the people around you simply aren’t interested?
Perhaps friends, neighbours, colleagues, or family members seem apathetic towards spiritual matters — not hostile, just disengaged. You may wonder how to start meaningful conversations about faith naturally, thoughtfully, and without sounding forced.
Many Christians also worry about saying the wrong thing, being unable to answer difficult questions, or making Christianity appear less credible rather than more compelling.
In today’s sceptical and distracted culture, sharing the gospel can feel increasingly difficult. Yet opportunities for good conversations still exist — and Christians can learn to engage others with both confidence and compassion.
That’s why Dumfries Baptist Church is hosting this special Confident Christianity Morning Session with speaker Steve Osmond.
What Is Confident Christianity?
Confident Christianity events are designed to help ordinary Christians grow in confidence as they speak about Jesus in everyday life. These events aim to equip believers to:
- Share their faith more naturally and thoughtfully
- Start better faith focussed conversations
- Engage graciously with common questions and objections
- Reach people who appear apathetic or spiritually uninterested
- Grow in confidence in representing Jesus in today’s culture
The morning session (Saturday, 20th June 2026) will include two engaging talks from Steve Osmond, followed by an open Q&A session, where you can ask honest questions about life and faith!

He also spends much of his time working with churches and other Christian groups, both to grow their faith and equip them to share their faith in Jesus persuasively.
