You’re not alone—and this event is for you!
We live in a culture where talking about faith can feel awkward or intimidating. That’s why Solas is partnering with 📍 St Mungo’s Church – Balerno to bring you a Confident Christianity Evening Session—a night designed to help everyday Christians talk about Jesus with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
Join us on Thursday the 27th of November from 7-9pm (doors open at 6:30) for an evening of encouragement, practical equipping, and thought-provoking talks as we explore how to share our faith with confidence and respond to tough questions about Christianity.
Our speaker for the evening will be Steve Osmond, who will bring two engaging and challenging talks.

Steve Osmond’s Talk Details
Talk 1: Conversations that Count
For many Christians, the thought of evangelism is something that fills them with anxiety and fear.
- What if there are questions that I can’t answer?
- What if they disagree with me?
- What if I just look like an idiot?
Rather than trying to have all the answers, this talk will help prepare you to become better in having good conversations that will lead you to sharing your faith in Jesus more naturally and confidently.
Talk 2: Injustice in Jesus’ Name
War. Genocide. Abuse of power. Racism. Corrupt leadership. Hypocrisy. Sexual abuse.
These are some of the charges that are brought against the church. How do we as Christians respond to these realities personally as well as when faced with questions about these issues from others?
This talk will help people think through some of these issues as well as use these questions to direct others to the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus.
